The Easiest Stir Fry

If you need to eat more veggies, but have no idea how to make them delicious, a stir fry is the perfect way to go!

Ingredients:

  • Veggies (broccoli, carrots, onions, mushrooms, green onions)

  • Tofu (can substitute chicken/beef)

  • Optional: a base of rice or noodles

  • Olive oil

  • Sesame seeds

  • Soy sauce

  • Sriracha

  • Sesame oil

  • Garlic

  • Salt & pepper

  1. Start by prepping your veggies and protein of choice. Chop up broccoli, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and green onions into smaller pieces. Press tofu with paper towels to eliminate as much water as possible (let this dehydrate for 30 minutes - an hour) and then cut into smaller pieces.

  2. Cut up 2 or 3 cloves of garlic and add it to a saucepan.

  3. Heat up the saucepan with a splash of olive oil and the garlic. Once the pan has heated, add the veggies and tofu to the pan and stir.

  4. As the veggies and protein cook, add a splash of soy sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt, pepper, and sriracha if desired. This is ultimately experimental to what you're comfortable with in terms of flavors, so add in bits of a time and taste until you love how it tastes!

  5. Once everything is cooked, a personal favorite touch is adding sesame seeds!

  6. Put everything in a bowl, garnish with sesame seeds or green onions and enjoy!
