About Me

Hi! My name is Nina and I am a third-year student at UCSB with a passion for arts, culture, and of course, food. Throughout my college career, an insanely busy schedule and lack of time and money led me to eating repetitive, unsatisfying meals. After getting tired of this routine, I tested out some easy recipes on my own and found how much more delicious and rewarding cooking can be.

UCSB has plenty of resources to start eating more diverse meals and experiment with the simplest, and most affordable ingredients. Whether you choose to shop at IV Co-op or Trader Joes, you can surely make a variety of quality meals on a budget.

By asking friends around me and taking from my own experience, I created a blog for all of my favorite, easiest recipes to make as a busy college student. Feel free to leave suggestions for other recipes to include as I'd love to expand my palette too.!

For more fun facts, along with my interest food, I have been involved in the performing arts from a young age. Between playing the drums, going to dance lessons, and playing in my rock band, I developed one of my strongest passions. As a Communication & Professional Writing student, I also am extremely interested in pursuing a career in marketing, communication, or event planning.
