Easy Breakfast Sandwich

Try a delicious breakfast sandwich to start the day off right!


Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (bagel, english muffin, your choice!)

  • 1 or 2 eggs

  • 1 slice of cheese

  • 2 slices of meat (turkey, bacon, etc.)

  • Butter or olive oil

  • Salt & pepper



  1. First, heat up about a tablespoon of butter or oil in a saucepan in preparation to cook the eggs. Personally, I like to fry an egg to make the yolk over medium, so I crack the egg onto the pan as neatly as possible and wait until the bottom looks golden brown. After flipping the egg, I always season it with salt and pepper for more flavor!

  2. Then I like to focus on the bread - put both slices in the toaster for about 4 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. Once the egg is cooked and the bread is toasted, put the cheese slice on the bottom slice, and put the egg directly on top. This way, the warm egg will melt the cheese.

  4. Then add your choice of meat on top of that. If you want to put in an extra step, warm up your turkey or bacon before placing it in the sandwich so it's nice and warm!

  5. Finally, add any other toppings you prefer—lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, the options are endless!

  6. Enjoy your delicious breakfast!
